Common recovery situations
- Programming or coding was interrupted
- Battery voltage dropped during a flash

Our approach
We first determine whether the module is truly hardware-damaged or whether its software/data state can be recovered. Depending on the ECU, recovery may be possible through bench or boot-level access. When the original module cannot be recovered, we can often move to a replacement-module strategy rather than starting from zero.
What to send us
Provide the BMW year/model, engine if known, DME part number or label photo, the tool/software used before the failure, and exactly what the car does now. If there is an error message or programming log, include it.
Why diagnosis matters
A “bricked” module and a physically failed module can look similar from the driver’s seat. Correctly identifying the failure path can avoid unnecessary module replacement and additional immobilizer or programming work.
